Adapting to Change in the Translation Industry.

Day to day, translators help move the world with words. Right now, due to the pandemic, the business world has seen a massive shift in popularity from the traditional brick-and-mortar shopping to the easier, more accessible e-commerce. As a result, businesses with a strong e-commerce presence have thrived, whereas businesses that did not already have a well-established e-commerce presence have struggled.

Pre COVID-19, part of the joy of shopping was being able to go to brick-and-mortar businesses and actually engage in the experience in person. However, this past year the business models that we all knew and relied on, have completely changed. No longer are consumers shopping in the traditional way they were used to.

While there has been a large decrease in demand for certain industries the Translation industry has stayed strong while adapting to new models. Translators have been seeing an increase in website translation requests as business owners are showing their clients they matter. Consumers buy for various reasons, BUT one of the most important factor is TRUST. So how do you show your consumers they matter?

You communicate with them in their language...

As the current situation has led to a change in how we communicate with our consumers. It is no longer a privilege to have digital communication it has now turned to a need. Blogs, policies, websites, and social media posts are now gradually increasing and are being pushed out in various languages as translators are keeping our world connected.

Language service providers (such as TraducciónNow) can work with businesses in-depth to make sure all audiences, regardless of language, feel welcomed and appreciated on their e-commerce shopping experience. Now is the best time to reach out to one in order to make sure your e-commerce business is reaching as many language markets as possible.
